Carob Pudding

Description

It's really fabulous, freezes well, and can be made equally well with cocoa or carob powder. Consistency is like fromage frais, and it goes well with stewed or soft fruit.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pint water
  • 1 oz soya flour
  • 3oz sunflower seeds
  • 4 tablespoons carob powder
  • 3 oz dates
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Method

  • Liquidize or blend well.
  • Leave in fridge, it will thicken up as the dates soak up the water.
  • Can be frozen.
